HPA was founded by Tuan Hj. Ismail bin Hj. Ahmad, who comes from Kg. Mata Ayer, Perlis in September 1987 on a small scale, which was then known as the Traditional Al Wahida.

After 8 years of operation, armed heritage of ancestors, HPA Industries Sdn. Bhd.. was established on 15 th July 1995. HPA experience in the past history of success and could survive until today. HPA is a business full of potential, achievement and excellence. The primary purpose of this company is to provide exposure to traditional herbal medicine as an alternative treatment to the community, not only to health but also guaranteed to enjoy benefits and enrich lives.

Now, HPA Industries Sdn Bhd has four modern factories and working farms 500 acres of herbs to ensure a sufficient supply of herbs.

HPA company factory is located at the address B1 & B2, Lot 29, Jalan Industri, Industrial Area Kuala Perlis, Perlis Malaysia Development Bank under the scheme. In addition, another plant that HPA is currently operating at Lot 5 & 6, Kawasan MIEL Jejawi Phase II, Jalan Jejawi Sematang, Perlis, and in Lot 1 & 2, IKS KEDA Napoh, 06100 Jitra, Kedah. The latter is another new factory operating in Gandul, Jakarta, Indonesia. The HPA is now factory workers more than 200 people.
